Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven NZonzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Inclan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Steven NZonzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafael Inclan!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NZonzi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Inclan fails with a takedown attempt.
NZonzi's jab looks to have found its range, popping Inclan under the eye.
NZonzi loads up on a big right hand but Inclan slips the punch.
Inclan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Inclan instigates a clinch.

NZonzi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
NZonzi misses with a looping right.
That kick from NZonzi tenderised Inclan's leg. Inclan is trying to keep his angry face on.
Inclan closes the distance and clinches up with NZonzi, looking for a takedown. Inclan pushes NZonzi against the cage but NZonzi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A slapping body kick lands there for NZonzi.

Inclan tries to sprawl but NZonzi drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

NZonzi is working for a kimura but Inclan is defending it quite comfortably.
NZonzi controlling the action here.

NZonzi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Inclan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
NZonzi sitting in guard here, content to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Steven NZonzi.

NZonzi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Inclan's guard.

NZonzi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and NZonzi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
NZonzi is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Academy of Combat that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

NZonzi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Inclan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, NZonzi has managed to get both his arms back between Inclan's legs - danger averted.
NZonzi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Steven NZonzi wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Inclan slips a jab from NZonzi.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Inclan enables NZonzi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Inclan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Inclan has managed to clinch.
NZonzi lands with a light punch inside.
NZonzi lands with a left to the head.
NZonzi prevents a takedown attempt there.
NZonzi lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


Inclan is rocked!

NZonzi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rafael Inclan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Inclan gets tackled into the cage by NZonzi. NZonzi maintains the clinch.

NZonzi decides to pull guard.
NZonzi is adopting a defensive guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Steven NZonzi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

NZonzi pushes Inclan up against the cage in a clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for NZonzi.
NZonzi lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Inclan or not.
Inclan drops down looking for an ankle pick but NZonzi pulls his leg out and moves away.

Inclan gets caught flat footed, as NZonzi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Steven NZonzi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
NZonzi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We're going to have a standup here because Steven NZonzi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

NZonzi clinches with his opponent.

A left hand lands to the body for NZonzi.

NZonzi gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
NZonzi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Steven NZonzi just wasn't active enough.

NZonzi shoots in and gets a takedown into Inclan's guard.
NZonzi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Inclan avoids a punch combination nicely.
NZonzi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Inclan can do to turn this around?

NZonzi cracks Inclan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. NZonzi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Inclan to stand back up!
Inclan is still on wobbly legs! Can NZonzi finish him?


It looks like Rafael Inclan has been cut.

NZonzi forces Inclan back against the cage and clinches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
NZonzi scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A short right from NZonzi.

NZonzi pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Inclan is fighting to break NZonzi's control of his arms but NZonzi is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
NZonzi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Inclan's guard.
NZonzi is pushing down on Inclan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Inclan is fighting to maintain full guard but NZonzi has managed to sneak the leg through.
Inclan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

NZonzi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
NZonzi stalling.
Inclan seems to have recovered his senses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steven NZonzi dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Rafael Inclan's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


NZonzi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from NZonzi misses the target.
Inclan blocks a jab.

NZonzi takes the fight into the clinch.

Inclan moves into the clinch successfully.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as NZonzi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
A quick uppercut on the inside from NZonzi.
Inclan looking to throw knees to the head but NZonzi is blocking nicely.

NZonzi tightens his grip and picks Inclan up, before dumping him to the ground. Inclan manages to land in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Steven NZonzi just wasn't active enough.

NZonzi closes the distance and clinches.

NZonzi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nice straight punches there by NZonzi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of NZonzi.

Inclan gets tackled into the cage by NZonzi. NZonzi maintains the clinch.
NZonzi lands a nice knee to the body.

NZonzi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
NZonzi connects with an inside leg kick.

Inclan has managed to clinch.

NZonzi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
NZonzi connects with a body shot that sends Inclan's belly button to the back.
This has been an exciting period of action!

NZonzi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Inclan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
NZonzi is putting a hurting on Inclan here, landing some big shots from side control.
NZonzi moves into full mount!

NZonzi content just to control the position here.
Inclan tries to improve his position but instead NZonzi has taken his back!
Steven NZonzi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
NZonzi keeps control of the position easily here as Inclan tries to buck him off.

NZonzi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Inclan for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from NZonzi, right into the meat.
Rafael Inclan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

NZonzi has taken the fight to the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Steven NZonzi showed his dominance in that final round.
Well NZonzi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
