Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mauno Koskinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mauno Koskinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jose Aldo!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koskinen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Aldo tries to land knees in the clinch but Koskinen avoids the damage to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Koskinen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Aldo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Koskinen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Koskinen lands a big shot there that rocks Aldo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Koskinen stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Aldo to get to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aldo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Koskinen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Aldo wants to stand up but Koskinen is controlling him.

Koskinen is posturing up here but Aldo has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Koskinen tries to roll out but it's too tight and Koskinen has to tap! Slick submission there by Aldo!
