These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

King is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Naciamento thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

We've been hearing good reports from Naciamento's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
You can see the frustration on King's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if King can do anything to dispel that myth.

Naciamento has hold of King's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! King tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Naciamento cranks the arm and King screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from King, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
