Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Herst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herst's entrance music is Mr Crowley. A fine choice. Brown has chosen Can't Hold Us as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown misses with a body kick.
Herst punishes Brown's body with a nice straight punch.
Damian Herst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Herst.
Herst lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively.
Herst will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Herst tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Herst.
Herst misses with a left hand
and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Damian Herst has been cut.
Herst throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brown's coach down at The Pit was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Brown's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A combination from Herst does no damage.

Brown darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Herst closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Brown has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Herst avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Herst postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Brown covers up, he's hurt! Herst keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Herst and the ref steps in to end the fight! Herst can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
