Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter North (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter North has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Terry Black's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Terry Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Black.
North misses with a straight left.
North misses with a series of wild punches.
North walks into a stiff left hand from Black.
North shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Black pinned against the cage. Black gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Black really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

North throws a right and a left that Black avoids nicely.
Black tries to work over North's front leg with a kick but North checks it.

Black tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but North defends well and Black ends up having to push North into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Black's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Black postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

North keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

North shoots in for a takedown but Black shows good takedown defense.
North misses with a jab, cross combination.
North looks to throw the jab but Black is out of range.

Black shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has North pinned against the cage. North gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A right-left combo lands from North.
North swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Black cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
North is looking to land body kicks.
Black avoids a punch combination nicely.
North changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Black tries to avoid it but North manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Black to the ground. Black escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

North throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
North displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Black.
Black lands a jab-cross combination.
North shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Black defends it nicely.
Black fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Black shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with North but North pushes him off and we're back to square one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Black shoots in looking for a takedown. North tries to sprawl out of it but Black keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. North manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Black pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Peter North seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
North shoots in but Black avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Black darts in looking for a takedown but North gets double underhooks and turns Black into the cage.

Black successfully pulls guard.
Black will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Black utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Black seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
North trying to control the position from guard on top but Black is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
North passes Black's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

North thows a huge punch but Black dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. North connects with a nice short shot to Black's temple.
Black flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
North has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
North lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for North on the ground.
Black is concentrating on defense, preventing North from advancing position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, North cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
North cracks Black with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
