The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McComas darts in and clinches Hammer up against the cage.
Hammer wants to break free but McComas has control.
McComas pulls guard successfully.
McComas wants to sweep but no luck.
Hammer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McComas controls Hammer momentarily but Hammer frees himself.
Hammer trying to control the position from guard on top but McComas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McComas wants to stand and escape but Hammer is having none of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McComas's guard.
McComas won't allow Hammer to pass to mount.
