The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hannibal moves out of range of the strikes.
Hannibal moves in looking to clinch but Obworth pushes him off.
Hannibal connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hannibal scores with a nice right hand.
Obworth takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hannibal throws a right hand that Obworth ducks under and follows up with a left that Obworth also avoids with ease.
Hannibal misses with the combination.
Obworth keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Jason Hannibal has been cut.
Hannibal tries to bum rush Obworth with a series of wild strikes but Obworth uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hannibal throws a head kick that misses.
Hannibal lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hannibal swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hannibal looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A head kick from Hannibal lands but Obworth takes it in his stride.

It looks like Jacob Obworth has been cut.
Hannibal misses with a double jab.

Hannibal swings widly with a right hand
and Obworth makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Obworth misses with a body shot.
Obworth lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hannibal at a distance.
Obworth lands a jab.
Hannibal finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Good exchange - Obworth coming out on top.

Hannibal gets caught napping as Obworth dives in and scores a takedown. Hannibal manages to retain guard.

Obworth seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hannibal does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
