The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around LV Cop's waist but LV Cop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vic off to one side.
A punch combination from LV Cop misses.
LV Cop lands a really nice looking cross but Vic seems unphased.
Vic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Badr LV Cop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vic has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Vic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
LV Cop tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vic paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vic moves out of range as LV Cop throws a body kick.
LV Cop throws a sloppy head kick and Vic moves out of range easily.
LV Cop scores with a nice right hand.
Vic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

LV Cop fails to land with a series of punches.
Vic avoids a punch combination nicely.

Vic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Vic tries to pull guard but LV Cop holds him up against the cage and eventually Vic drops back down to his feet.

LV Cop breaks the clinch.

LV Cop throws a front kick aimed at Vic's knee but Vic avoids it well.
Nice takedown defense from LV Cop. No joy for Vic on that attempt.
LV Cop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
LV Cop misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vic shoots in looking for a takedown. LV Cop tries to sprawl out of it but Vic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. LV Cop manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from LV Cop.
Badr LV Cop is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A right-left combo lands from LV Cop.

Vic is rocked!
Vic is breathing heavily.
Vic shoots for a double leg takedown but LV Cop sprawls well. He's pushed Vic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
LV Cop throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Vic stumbling backwards into the cage! Vic bounces back off the cage towards LV Cop, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! LV Cop lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! LV Cop celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
