Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ted Mcconnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch McGoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcconnell with a body punch. A glancing blow.
McGoo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mcconnell sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McGoo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mcconnell.
McGoo tries for a takedown but Mcconnell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McGoo is defended easily by Mcconnell.
Nice takedown defense from McGoo. No joy for Mcconnell on that attempt.

Mcconnell is trying to drag McGoo to the mat but McGoo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mcconnell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McGoo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mcconnell tries to score a power double leg takedown but McGoo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcconnell somewhat.
McGoo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Butch McGoo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
