Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spike Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rorion Liborio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rorion Liborio will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Liborio misses with a two punch combination.
Liborio throws a hook but Silva avoids it easily.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Liborio wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Liborio is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Silva has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Liborio is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Liborio is persistently looking for the submission but Silva is defending it well.
Liborio keeps control of the position as Silva tries to break free.
Silva tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Silva lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Liborio!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Liborio is rocked!

Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Liborio can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Liborio is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?

Silva throws a series of strikes and Liborio wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Liborio is looking to escape.
Liborio wants to hold on but Silva pushes him away.

Liborio has left one of his arms exposed and Silva doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Liborio screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
