The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rashid shoots in for a double leg but Barkley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Barkley with a lazy takedown attempt

and Rashid counters with a nice double leg into side control. Barkley won't be happy with that.
Barkley tries to buck Rashid off but Rashid is having none of it.
Barkley is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rashid off and has taken his back!

Barkley has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Rashid is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Barkley off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Barkley doesn't have the hooks in and Rashid manages to turn into his guard.

Barkley is looking to sinch up a triangle. Rashid throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Barkley's body to avoid the submission. Barkley has instead reached around Rashid's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Barkley arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
