Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trey Kline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dj Razor Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dj Razor Kane acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trey Kline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dj Razor Kane!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kline misses with a hook.
Kane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kline swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kline sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kane somewhat.
Kane tries to clinch there but Kline circles away.
Kline shoots in for a takedown but Kane shows good takedown defense.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kline looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kane tries to clinch but Kline moves away
and Kline makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Kane rushes Kline and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kane gets underhooks to prevent Kline's takedown attempt.
Kline is trying to pull guard but Kane has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Kline. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kline is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kane is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kline to the mat. Kline regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Kane is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kane has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kline is proving hard to escape from.
Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kline. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kane wants to stand and escape but instead Kline has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Kline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kline controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kane controls Kline momentarily but Kline frees himself.

Kane wants to stand but Kline is controlling the position.
Kline controlling from the top position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kline closes the distance and clinches.
Kane drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kane tries to break free but Kline pushes him back against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kane successfully pulls guard.
Kane looks winded!

Kline got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kline has managed to get both his arms back between Kane's legs - danger averted.

Kane looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kline sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Kane is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kline throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Kline showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kline stands and steps away. Kane gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kline takes a swing at Kane's ribcage but misses.

Kline moves into the clinch.

Kline's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kline goes for a double leg but Kane avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kane continues to drive forward.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kane gets underhooks to prevent Kline's takedown attempt.
Kline lands an elbow that stopped Kane in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Dj Razor Kane has been cut.
Kline lands a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Trey Kline will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Dj Razor Kane's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Kane shoots for a takedown but Kline saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kane closes the distance but Kline moves to the side
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Kane closes the distance and clinches.
Kline working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Kline blocks an uppercut.
Kline is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kane fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kline is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Trey Kline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dj Razor Kane.
Kline has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kane after a bit of a struggle.
Kane is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kline jumps into guard, dragging Kane to the mat.
Kline has Kane pulled in close to control his posture.

Kline throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kane trying to control but Kline is working from the bottom.
Kline is pulling down on Kane's head. It's preventing any offense from Kane, at least for the moment.
Kane postures up.

Kane wants to control from the top but Kline keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dj Razor Kane.

Kline has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kline's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Trey Kline is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kane slaps away a takedown attempt from Kline, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kline looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Kline persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing.
Kane throws a body punch but Kline moves out of range.

Kane gets a double leg takedown into Kline's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kane trying to control but Kline is working from the bottom.
Kline might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kline trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kline holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kline shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kane as he avoids it easily.
Kane has a takedown stuffed.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kline fails with a takedown attempt.
Kline circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kline counters with a head kick.
Kane throws a head kick that misses.
Kline dives in and grabs Kane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kane pushes down on Kline's head and hops out.
Kline shoots in for a takedown but Kane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kline slaps away a takedown attempt from Kane, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kline avoids the head kick by Kane.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Trey Kline will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Kane lands a nice shot that snaps Kline's head back.
Kane stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kane wants it to stay on the feet.
Kane throws a nice head kick!


It looks like Trey Kline has been cut.
Kane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kline pinned against the cage. Kline gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kline tries a head kick but it misses.
Kane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kane defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kline.
Kane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kline but Kline pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kane shoots for a double leg takedown but Kline sprawls well. He's pushed Kane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Trey Kline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dj Razor Kane.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kline throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kline shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kane wants to get back to full guard but Kline has mounted him!
Kane is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Kline forces the positional change into back control.

Kane tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Kline has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Kane is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Trey Kline!
