Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glen Shore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Clarckson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clarckson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Glen Shore is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clarckson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Clarckson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shore shoots in looking for a takedown. Clarckson tries to sprawl out of it but Shore keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clarckson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Come on Clarckson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Shore takes an elbow to the forehead.
Clarckson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

The referee calls for Clarckson to work.

Shore shoots for a takedown but Clarckson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Shore closes the distance and clinches up with Clarckson, looking for a takedown. Shore pushes Clarckson against the cage but Clarckson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

I was talking to Shore's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Shore is trying to push Clarckson away but Clarckson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Shore tries to break the clinch but Clarckson is controlling the position.

Clarckson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Glen Shore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shore drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Clarckson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Clarckson is trying to stand up here but Shore is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Clarckson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sloppy strikes from Shore. Those never looked like landing.
Shore changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clarckson tries to avoid it but Shore manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clarckson to the ground. Clarckson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Glen Shore is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
