Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlson darts in looking for a takedown but Padamalei gets double underhooks and turns Carlson into the cage.
Carlson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Padamalei breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Padamalei jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A big left from Padamalei misses.

Padamalei pushes Carlson up against the cage in a clinch.

Padamalei breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Carlson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carlson tries to clinch up but Padamalei circles away and keeps his distance.
Padamalei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carlson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Padamalei scores with a sloppy right hand. Carlson should have avoided that one.

It looks like Scotty Carlson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Carlson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Padamalei.
Carlson throws a head kick that misses.
Carlson moves out of range of the strikes.
Carlson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Padamalei tries to avoid it but Carlson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Padamalei to the ground. Padamalei escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Padamalei cracks Carlson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Carlson falls backwards against the cage. Padamalei follows up with more strikes that drop Carlson to his knees. Padamalei keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Carlson! This one is all over!
