Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Batts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brodie Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batts kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pro-pain - Make war (not love) . Sinclair has chosen as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brodie Sinclair was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Batts misses.
Sinclair connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Batts's hands.
Sinclair tries to keep at a distance but Batts has taken the fight into the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sinclair has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Batts connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Brodie Sinclair has been cut.

Batts tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

A battle for position here, against the cage.
Sinclair lands a hook that snaps the head of Batts backwards.
Sinclair wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Our sources have told us that Batts has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Batts creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Sinclair takes a knee to the side of the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sinclair.
Batts lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sinclair backwards.
Batts scores with a knee to the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Batts.
Sinclair trying to control the position but instead, Batts has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sinclair into the cage.
Sinclair throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Battss head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sinclair swings wildly with an uppercut but Batts uses good head movement to avoid it.
Batts landing knees to the head.
Still in the clinch, Batts scores with a nice short uppercut.
Sinclair is rocked!
Batts has Sinclair pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Sinclair is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Batts - that's hurt Sinclair badly! Oh, another knee lands and Sinclair is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Sinclair doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Billy Batts!
In his post fight interview, Billy Batts gave a big smile as he said 'Eh, Eh - Thanks for the support. I'm gettin too old for this shit. Batter up.'.
