Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pound Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart comes to the cage accompanied by Hide Your Tears. Mcgee has chosen Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart thows a leg kick but Mcgee checks it
and Mcgee makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hart throws a head kick that misses.

and Mcgee counters with a left to the body.

Mcgee lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hart closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mcgee circles away.

We've been hearing reports that Hart has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Mcgee is pressed up against the cage. Hart has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mcgee down to the mat. Mcgee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mcgee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hart.
Horrible takedown by Hart or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcgee which made him look bad.

Mcgee decides to stand back up. Mcgee steps back and let's Hart get back to his feet.

A close round but Pound Mcgee will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mcgee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mcgee works over Hart's head and body with a nice combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hart.

Hart darts in looking for a takedown but Mcgee gets double underhooks and turns Hart into the cage.

Mcgee looks to land a combination. Hart sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Hart throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcgee's waist but Mcgee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hart off to one side.

Hart is looking to work some ground and pound but Mcgee has wrist control.
