The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexeyev throws a head kick but Cook moves out of range.
Alexeyev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A shot to the liver by Alexeyev. Beautiful body shot.

Cook instigates a clinch.
Cook is trying to force a seperation but Alexeyev has the dominant position.
Alexeyev prevents the takedown attempt.

Cook decides to pull guard.
Alexeyev postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Cook looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Cook is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cook preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Alexeyev's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Cook wants to hit a switch here but Alexeyev passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Cook there!

Alexeyev throws a sloppy strike and Cook uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Cook has ended up in Alexeyev's guard.

Cook is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Cook throws a strike but Alexeyev rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cook lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Alexeyev!
Cook throws some wild stikes that Alexeyev manages to avoid easily.
Cook fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Alexeyev is in all sorts of trouble here.
Cook unloads with some shots from mount but Alexeyev bucks and avoids them well.

Cook is landing with some decent strikes but Alexeyev is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cook cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Cook with shots to the head and body - Alexeyev looks very uncomfortable down there.
Cook thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Alexeyev is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Cook locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Alexeyev is forced to tap!

A relieved looking Orion Cook thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
