Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dionys tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yody swinging wildly here.
Yody works Dionys's body with a nice hook.
Yody throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Yody drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Yody looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Yody throwing strikes but missing.
Dionys is trying to control the position but Yody postures up.
Yody's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jack Yody hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Yody has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yody breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheers as Yody lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dionys doesn't seem phased though.
Dionys takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dionys takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Dionys is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yody lands a nice looking body shot.
Yody drops Dionys with a huge uppercut! Dionys drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Yody is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Yody!
After winning the bout, Jack Yody thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
