The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Fierro.
Knott walks into a jab.
Knott tries to work over Fierro's front leg with a kick but Fierro checks it.
A jab from Fierro finds it's way through Knott's defenses.

and Fierro makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fierro. Knott does a little dance to reset his feet.
Knott has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fierro finds it's way round the side to connect with Knott's head.
The fighters circling - Fierro throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Knott shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Fierro stalks Knott and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Knott's face. Knott staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Fierro counters with a left and a right that hurts Knott! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Fierro jumps into full mount!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
