Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evander Holyfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone comes to the cage accompanied by Martyr Perpetual Healing Infinite Pain. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holyfield changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Malone tries to avoid it but Holyfield manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Malone to the ground. Malone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Holyfield lands a body shot.
Malone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Holyfield.
Malone looks to throw the jab but Holyfield is out of range.
Malone throws a leg kick which misses Holyfield's front leg but catches the back leg as Holyfield tries to avoid it.
Holyfield ducks under a wild hook from Malone.
Holyfield throws a lazy uppercut
and Malone counters with a good low kick that Holyfield was not able to check.
The fight stays on the outside here - Holyfield looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Holyfield takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Malone tries to work over Holyfield's front leg with a kick but Holyfield checks it.
Holyfield turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Evander Holyfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holyfield misses with a looping left.
Malone looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Malone throws a chopping leg kick but Holyfield manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Holyfield takes a swing at Malone's ribcage but misses.
Holyfield misses with a right hand
and Malone makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Holyfield pushes Malone up against the cage in a clinch.

Malone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Malone avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Holyfield scores with a hook to the body. Malone takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Holyfield throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Malone gets a takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Holyfield has control of Malone's left arm, preventing Malone from doing any damage.

Holyfield is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Holyfield throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Malone is not content to let Holyfield control the position.

Holyfield thows a huge punch but Malone dodges it nicely.
Holyfield is nestled in close to Malone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Malone is trying to get back to full guard.

Holyfield is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Malone defends it well.
Malone has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Holyfield is working away from the top position though.
Holyfield is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Malone!

Malone is bucking up trying to escape but Holyfield cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Holyfield is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Malone can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like Josh Malone has been cut.
Holyfield avoids the attempt from Malone to control.
Holyfield lands a couple of good shots and Malone has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Our spies down at at BLKOUT Training Center inform us that Holyfield has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Holyfield has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Malone is defending well but eventually Holyfield manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Malone has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
