Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lazerus Wheelright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Chalmers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chalmers has chosen Hash Pipe by Weezer as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chalmers looks to score with a jab to the body but Wheelright is just out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Chalmers!
Chalmers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Chalmers misses with a body shot.
Chalmers moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Chalmers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chalmers throws a lazy head kick
and Wheelright counters with an inside leg kick.
Wheelright throws a body punch but Chalmers moves out of range.
Wheelright blocks a head kick by Chalmers.
Chalmers checks a leg kick.
Wheelright tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chalmers was well out of range. Poor timing from Wheelright.
Wheelright avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chalmers tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The fighters circling - Chalmers throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Chalmers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wheelright swings for the body but Chalmers moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chalmers misses with a kick to the body.

Wheelright pushes Chalmers away with a front kick.
Wheelright scoring well with a low kick there.
Wheelright pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Wheelright drives through with a takedown into Chalmers's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Chalmers looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wheelright has picked Chalmers up and slammed him! Chalmers can't keep hold of the triangle and Wheelright manages to pass to side control!
Chalmers takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Wheelright content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chalmers tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wheelright wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Chalmers is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Chalmers tries to buck Wheelright off but Wheelright is having none of it.
We've been hearing that Wheelright has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Wheelright has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Chalmers looking for a sweep but Wheelright has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Chalmers is rocked!
Wheelright postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Chalmers bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Wheelright and the fight is over!

A relieved looking Lazerus Wheelright thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
