Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle ONeill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daz Grice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle ONeill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daz Grice !
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grice stuffs the takedown.

Excellent takedown into side control there by ONeill.
ONeill tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Grice tries to buck ONeill off but ONeill is having none of it.
Grice managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by ONeill.
Grice is trying to control ONeill's posture but ONeill avoids it.
ONeill prevents Grice from escaping the position.

ONeill stands up and beckons Grice to his feet.
ONeill is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Grice fails with the takedown.

ONeill shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grice 's guard.

Grice escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. ONeill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

ONeill fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Grice sprawls well initially but ONeill persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

ONeill decides to stand and escape the position.

ONeill closes the distance and clinches.

ONeill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

ONeill scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Grice is looking for a sweep.
ONeill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Grice wants to control but ONeill postures up.
ONeill prevents Grice from escaping the position.

ONeill is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Grice has escaped the position, nice work there.
Grice tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but ONeill wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

ONeill is working Grice over with some ground and pound from side control.
ONeill working away.
ONeill is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Grice lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for ONeill!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Grice raining down shots from the mount!
ONeill is squirming around, avoiding Grice 's attempts to control the action.
Grice dominating with strikes here.
Grice looking to control but ONeill is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Grice might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control ONeill kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
ONeill wants to hold on but Grice pushes him away.

Grice can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as ONeill is looking to escape.
ONeill is trying to escape the mount.
Grice misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kyle ONeill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
ONeill tries to reverse the position but Grice maintains control.

Grice jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… ONeill is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by ONeill and Grice has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
ONeill manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Grice trying to control but ONeill postures up.
ONeill is looking to take a break and control but Grice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Grice is trying to maintain the position but ONeill is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
ONeill is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle ONeill dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Grice misses with an attempted mid kick.

ONeill looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Grice !
Grice is looking to improve his position but ONeill isn't that keen on the idea.
ONeill landing strikes, looking to finish!
ONeill avoids the attempt from Grice to control.
Grice is working to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Grice is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

ONeill working the ground and pound effectively.
Grice is bucking up trying to escape but ONeill cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

ONeill swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
