The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Tanimoto.

Tanimoto lands a big head kick that sends Fabiano tumbling to the mat! Tanimoto takes a step backwards and waves Fabiano back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Luiz Fabiano has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fabiano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tanimoto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fabiano has managed to get both his arms back between Tanimoto's legs - danger averted.

Fabiano thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tanimoto is looking to cinch up a triangle. Fabiano throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tanimoto's body to avoid the submission. Tanimoto has instead reached around Fabiano's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tanimoto arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
