Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phaneuf misses with a double jab
and Anderson counters with a left and a right that stings Phaneuf.
Anderson tries to clinch but Phaneuf is having none of it.
Phaneuf throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Anderson counters with a series of strikes. Phaneuf will be more careful next time no doubt.
Phaneuf swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Anderson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Anderson throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Phaneuf's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Anderson dives in looking to finish as Phaneuf flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Anderson's strikes! Anderson is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Phaneuf's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Phaneuf was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brownie Anderson!
