Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nino Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Hendricks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nino Dunn!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunn lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Hendricks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hendricks controlling the action here.
Dunn won't allow Hendricks to pass to mount.
Dunn tries to kick Hendricks off in order to stand up. Hendricks Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Dunn is trying to get back to his feet.
Dunn is looking to regain half guard here but Hendricks keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dunn wants to get back to his feet but Hendricks is dominant here and he's now got Dunn's back!
Dunn tries to escape but Hendricks has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Hendricks is riding his opponent, not letting Dunn buck him off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dunn controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Hendricks lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Hendricks trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Dunn doesn't escape.
Hendricks doesn't have the hooks in and Dunn manages to turn into his guard.
Hendricks lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Dunn is fighting to break Hendricks's control of his arms but Hendricks is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hendricks working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dunn.
Hendricks looking for a sweep. Not yet Hendricks, not yet.
Hendricks is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dunn wants to stand and escape but instead Hendricks has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Dunn is working an open guard so Hendricks takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Hendricks closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dunn's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dunn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hendricks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hendricks is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dunn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hendricks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hendricks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Dunn looking for a guillotine here but Hendricks defends easily.
Hendricks trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Dunn keeping moving, preventing Hendricks from controlling successfully.
Dunn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hendricks can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hendricks decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dunn, up you get!
Hendricks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dunn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hendricks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dunn pinned against the cage. Dunn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hendricks walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dunn checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hendricks misses with a body punch
letting Dunn counter with a right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dunn!
Dunn scores with a kick to the body.
Dunn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hendricks shoots in and gets a takedown into Dunn's guard.
Dunn is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hendricks frees his head nicely. Oh but Dunn has switched to an armbar! Hendricks is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

A very excited looking Nino Dunn made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
