The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Gutz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Junkkari throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Junkkari lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bloody Gutz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gutz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Junkkari manages to avoid it.
Gutz's coach down at The Cooker was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gutz's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Gutz throws a looping overhand right but Junkkari ducks down to avoid it.

Gutz throws out a loose jab but Junkkari uses good head movement to avoid it.

Junkkari will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gutz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Junkkari.

Junkkari sends Gutz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Junkkari is motioning to the referee to let Gutz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Junkkari counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Gutz out cold! What a finish! Junkkari is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
