The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brow shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Cole counters with a shoot takedown. Brow fights it but they end up in guard.
Cole is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Brow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Brow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cole postures up in Brow's guard and throws a big left but Brow blocks it.
Cole tries to stand but Brow is controlling from the bottom.

Cole lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Brow wants to control but Cole passes easily into half guard.
Cole is looking to pass Brow's guard but actually Brow recovers to full guard.

Cole is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Cole has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Andy Cole just wasn't active enough.

Cole drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cole is pushing down on Brow's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brow is fighting to maintain full guard but Cole has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cole is taking a breather. Brow says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
