The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Toro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Waits missing with a left hand there. El Toro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
El Toro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Waits swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Waits lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and El Toro has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from El Toro and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The cut above Julio El Toro's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
El Toro goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Waits lands a left hand.
El Toro makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Waits misses with a punch on the inside.
The referee calls for El Toro to work.
Waits lands a right hand that snaps the head of El Toro backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Julio El Toro's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tom Waits really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Tokyo United Fightwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
