Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenpachi Zaraki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenpachi Zaraki is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenpachi Zaraki!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaraki darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Palmer misses with a leg kick.
Zaraki tries to clinch up but Palmer circles away and keeps his distance.
Zaraki misses with a body shot.
Palmer throws a leg kick but Zaraki sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A head kick misses from Zaraki.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Palmer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zaraki - the referee stops the clock and Palmer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zaraki. Palmer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Palmer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zaraki under the eye.
It looks like Kenpachi Zaraki has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Palmer takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've been hearing reports that Palmer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Palmer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Zaraki misses with a hook. Palmer ducked under it nicely.

Palmer lands a nice hook to Zaraki's body. Zaraki takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Zaraki wants to clinch up but Palmer keeps it at a distance.
Palmer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Palmer throws a shot from downtown. Zaraki moves away and avoids it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Palmer cracks Zaraki with an open hand slap.
Zaraki looks to land a left hand but Palmer moved out of range nicely.
Zaraki throws a sloppy head kick and Palmer moves out of range easily.
Zaraki moves into range and clinches up with Palmer.

Palmer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zaraki pulls his leg out and moves away.
Zaraki ducks right into an uppercut from Palmer.

Palmer dodges the punch combination from Zaraki.
Zaraki lands with a cross.
Zaraki cracks Palmer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Zaraki will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Zaraki looks to score with a jab to the body but Palmer is just out of range.

Zaraki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Zaraki has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Palmer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Zaraki tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Palmer cracks Zaraki with a right hand to the side of the head.
Nice uppercut there from Palmer.
Zaraki digs a good hook to Palmer's body.

and Zaraki counters with a two punch combo.
Palmer pounces like a tiger and cracks Zaraki with a vicious hook! Zaraki is down but not out! Palmer follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

An intense looking Chris Palmer took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Stop protecting Nai Khanom Tom from me. He and I both know these idiot judges gift wrapped him his win against me. '.
