Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Lyman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lucas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jesus I Was Evil. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lucas misses the jab.
We've been informed that Lyman has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Lyman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Lucas counters with a shoot takedown. Lyman fights it but they end up in guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lyman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lyman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lucas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lucas postures up in Lyman's guard and throws a big left but Lyman blocks it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lucas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lyman wants to stand up but Lucas is controlling him.

Lucas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lucas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lyman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lyman lands with a kick to the temple. Lucas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Matthew Lucas has been cut.

Lyman lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Lyman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Josh Lyman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lucas attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Lucas shoots in looking for a takedown. Lyman tries to sprawl out of it but Lucas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Lyman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lyman moves out of range as Lucas strikes.
Lyman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lucas misses with a looping left.
Lyman feints and then cracks Lucas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lucas down.

Lyman tries a head kick but it misses.
Lyman throws a head kick but Lucas moves out of range.
Lucas scores with a shot to the body.
Lucas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lyman sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Lucas throws a leg kick but Lyman moved away.
Lucas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lyman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lucas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lyman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lyman throws a head kick that half lands.
Lyman tries to clinch up.
Lyman throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Lucas takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Lyman lands with a slapping head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lucas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lyman on the side of the head.

Lyman is breathing heavily.
Lucas drops Lyman with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lyman looks back up at him and smiles so Lucas waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and Lucas counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lyman is still on wobbly legs! Can Lucas finish him?
Lyman gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Lucas points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Lyman wakes up just in time to hear Lucas thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matthew Lucas!
Matthew Lucas bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
