The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mason clinches with his opponent.
Mason lands a knee to the body.
Otter digs a right hand into Mason's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mason's gas tank.
Mason blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mason tries to pull guard but Otter holds him up against the cage and eventually Mason drops back down to his feet.

Mason jumps into guard, dragging Otter to the mat.

Mason looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Otter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mason looking for a guillotine here but Otter defends easily.

Otter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mason looks a forlorn figure.
