Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Django Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown's entrance music is System Of A Down - Chop Suey! . A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Brown. That's going to slow Caine down.
Brown goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Brown misses with a low kick.
Brown clinches.
Caine goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brown prevents it.
Brown tries to work over Caine's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Brown misses with the head strike.
Caine wants a takedown but no success here.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Caine.
Brown lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Caine tries to pull guard but Brown won't allow it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brown creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Caine slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Caine wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Caine is trying to get an arm triangle but Brown is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brown fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Caine checks it well.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.
Brown defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Caine.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Caine checks a leg kick.

and Brown counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Brown counters with an inside leg kick.

Brown throws a low kick, looking for Caine's leg but Caine calmly moves out of range.
Caine gets tackled into the cage by Brown. Brown maintains the clinch.
Caine is working for takedown but Brown is calmly controlling the position for now.

Brown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Caine has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Caine's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown wants to control from the top but Caine keeps moving.

Brown stands and throws Caine's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Caine is letting Brown control him for a moment.

Caine manages to work his way to half guard, despite Brown's best efforts.
Caine wants to get back to full guard.
Caine has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though.

Brown seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Caine does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Brown frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Caine tries to reverse the position but Brown maintains control.
Caine takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown is landing with some decent strikes but Caine is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Caine is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brown postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Caine in real trouble here! The ref calls for Caine to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

After winning the bout, Django Brown thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
