Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Era Ojdanic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cranium Basher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cranium Basher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ojdanic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Basher as he avoids it easily.
Ojdanic shoots for a double leg takedown but Basher sprawls well. He's pushed Ojdanic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Basher shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ojdanic's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Basher throws a strike but Ojdanic rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Basher tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ojdanic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Basher looking to control but Ojdanic passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Basher is looking for a sweep. Ojdanic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ojdanic trying to control from half guard but Basher is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Basher wants to get back to full guard.
Basher trying to control from the bottom.
Basher is looking for a sweep. Ojdanic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Basher moves into full guard.
Basher controls Ojdanic momentarily but Ojdanic frees himself.
Basher wants to sweep but no luck.
Basher is adopting a defensive guard.

Basher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ojdanic is one step ahead there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ojdanic avoids the body shot from Basher.

Basher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Basher showed some decent athleticism there.
Basher scoring with strikes to the body and head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Basher winds up and cracks Ojdanic with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Basher working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Ojdanic is rocked!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ojdanic is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Basher scores with a couple of nice shots.
Oh Ojdanic is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Basher scores with a big shot! Ojdanic's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Ojdanic! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Cranium Basher tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
