The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tee throws a nice looking combination but Laugarren bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tee tries to bum rush Laugarren with a series of wild strikes but Laugarren uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tee throws a series of punches but Laugarren moves out of range.
Laugarren could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Laugarren misses with a head kick.
Laugarren throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Laugarren tries to clinch up but Tee circles away and keeps his distance.
Tee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Laugarren moves in looking to clinch but Tee pushes him off.
Tee misses with a wild combination.
Tee scores with a hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Some wild striking there from Tee.
Laugarren tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A jab from Tee finds it's way through Laugarren's defenses.
Laugarren throws a nice head kick!
Laugarren moves in looking to clinch but Tee pushes him off.
A punch combination from Tee misses.
Tee keeps the fight on the outside.
Laugarren doesn't manage to clinch there - Tee circles away.

Tee lands a left and a right that send Laugarren crashing to the mat, dazed. Tee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Laugarren is rocked!

It looks like Yuri Laugarren has been cut.
Laugarren tries to clinch but Tee moves out of range.
Tee misses with a double jab
and Laugarren counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Tee is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Tee misses with a two punch combination.
Tee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A combination from Tee does no damage.
Tee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tee looks winded!
Tee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laugarren moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Laugarren tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Laugarren is looking to clinch but Tee is avoiding it.
Tee throws a body punch but Laugarren moves out of range.
Tee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Laugarren counters with a big head kick but Tee shrugs it off.

Laugarren closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tee did well to prevent Laugarren getting side control.
Laugarren is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tee!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laugarren pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Laugarren has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tee's face.
Laugarren lands a big shot there that rocks Tee but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Laugarren is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Tee is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Tee flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Laugarren anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Tee and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Laugarren slips an arm under Tee chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Laugarren has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Laugarren is squeezing on Tee like an anaconda would it's prey. Tee fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yuri Laugarren!
