The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kirbs fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hackenburg manages to avoid it.

Hackenburg shoots in for a takedown but Kirbs shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Trent Quo Titan Kirbs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hackenburg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kirbs.

Kirbs throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hackenburg sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Hackenburg looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kirbs is fending him off so far but Hackenburg persists. Nope, Kirbs circles away and we're back to standing.
Hackenburg takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hackenburg fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kirbs has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kirbs fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hackenburg.
Kirbs pushes Hackenburg away with a front kick.
Kirbs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kirbs scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kirbs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hackenburg goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Kirbs scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Christian Hackenburg has been cut.
Kirbs stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Kirbs throws a nice looking combination but Hackenburg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kirbs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kirbs wants it to stay on the feet.

Kirbs has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hackenburg should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kirbs has tightened it up now! Hackenburg should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
