And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nakamara shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nakamara was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Nakamara tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Jefferson is pushing Nakamara's head away, looking to escape. Nakamara manages to hold on to the position though.
Nakamara has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nakamara is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jefferson's shoulder. That is not cool.
Nakamara wants to stand but Jefferson has his arm trapped.
Jefferson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Jefferson regains half guard, as Nakamara was trying to land strikes.
Jefferson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jefferson tries to get to full guard but Nakamara has control of the leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jefferson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nakamara scores with a couple of nice shots.
Nakamara throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Nakamara looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Nakamara takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nakamara wants to stand but Jefferson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Well, if Nakamara is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jefferson tries to kick Nakamara off in order to stand up. Nakamara Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Nakamara has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jefferson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Nakamara yanks on the arm and Jefferson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Nakamara.
