The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oliveira drives through with a takedown into Faron's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Oliveira wants to stand but Faron has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Faron is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Oliveira wants to pass the guard but Faron is keeping the position.
Faron is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Faron is taking a breather. Oliveira says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Faron throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Oliveira was covering up waiting for the punch and Faron finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Faron postures up in Oliveira's guard and throws a big left but Oliveira blocks it.

Faron should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
