The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maghes shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Nogueira is looking to escape.
Well, if Maghes is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Maghes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nogueira defends it well.

Maghes stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Sloppy strikes from Maghes. Those never looked like landing.
Nogueira misses with a takedown attempt - Maghes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nogueira shoots in looking for a takedown. Maghes tries to sprawl out of it but Nogueira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Maghes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nogueira works the jab nicely.

Maghes lands a left and a right that send Nogueira crashing to the mat, dazed. Maghes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nogueira is rocked!

It looks like Ray Nogueira has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maghes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Nogueira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nogueira is breathing heavily.
Nogueira walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Maghes swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
