Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trey Kline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cory Farmer!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farmer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Farmer showed some decent athleticism there.
Kline wants to control but Farmer is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Farmer is pressing down on Kline's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kline is holding on for now.
It looks like Farmer is going to stand back up.
Farmer is looking to take a break and control but Kline is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Farmer stalling.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Cory Farmer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A low kick from Farmer misses
letting Kline counter with a right hand.
Kline shoots in for a takedown but Farmer shows good takedown defense.

Kline fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Farmer throws a push kick but Kline slaps the foot to one side.
Farmer is looking to clinch.
Kline shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Farmer but Farmer pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Farmer has closed the distance and engaged Kline in a clinch.
Kline pulls guard.
Kline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Farmer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Farmer trying to control but Kline is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Farmer is stalling in the full guard.
Kline can't keep his opponent in guard - Farmer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Farmer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Farmer is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Farmer is keen to just control but Kline is a slippery customer.
Farmer passes to full mount!

Kline is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kline is working to get back to half guard.
Farmer in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Farmer jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kline manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee asks Farmer politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Farmer prefers to stall for the moment though.
Farmer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kline is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kline is being controlled here.
Farmer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kline keeps working.
Kline wants to control but Farmer postures up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Farmer trying to control the action but Kline is working from the bottom.
Farmer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cory Farmer dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kline shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Farmer but Farmer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Farmer has managed to clinch.
Farmer stops a takedown attempt from Kline.
Farmer is working for takedown but Kline is calmly controlling the position for now.
Farmer gets underhooks to prevent Kline's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Kline. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Farmer gets control of Kline's arms and successfully pulls guard. Farmer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Kline is posturing up here but Farmer has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kline tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kline has to tap! Slick submission there by Farmer!
