Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Burt Stuart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Omar Sans!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Stuart does no damage.
Stuart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sans shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stuart napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Stuart might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Let's hope that Sans has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Sans throws a right and a left that Stuart avoids nicely.

Sans throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stuart was covering up waiting for the punch and Sans finishes the takedown easily into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stuart feints and as Sans raises his hands in defense, Stuart changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sans pulls Stuart in close to his closed guard and prevents Stuart from doing any damage or advancing position.

Sans has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stuart is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Stuart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Stuart feints a jab promting Sans to slip. Stuart then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sans slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Omar Sans is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Stuart throws a head kick but Sans moves out of range.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Burt Stuart.
I think Sans has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
