The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kantola scores with a head kick. James tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
James throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kantola slips a jab and a cross from James.
Kantola lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Bubba James has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James is looking to clinch.
James misses with a jab, cross combination.
James tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Kantola counters with a head kick that drops James to the mat! James scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
James throws a solid leg kick but Kantola takes the impact on his shin and smiles at James.
Kantola misses with a series of wild punches.
A left and a right from Kantola both land. Nice combination.
James misses with a few strikes there.
Kantola throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! James crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ari Kantola is the new heavyweight champion!
A very excited looking Ari Kantola rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Bubba James spoke after the fight, saying 'I gave it my all. I would like to thank Jonathan Rowe for the chance at the belt. I apologize to my fans around the world. I WILL BE BACK!!'.
