The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Mahoney gets caught napping as Larsen dives in and scores a takedown. Mahoney manages to retain guard.
Mahoney working for a triangle but Larsen defends it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Larsen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Larsen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mahoney has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Larsen is looking to defend but Mahoney has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Larsen! Mahoney pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Larsen taps out and this one is all over!
