The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharkhausen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sharkhausen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sharkhausen drives through and clinches with Hovimaki against the cage.

Sharkhausen breaks from the clinch.
Sharkhausen on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Sharkhausen rushes Hovimaki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sharkhausen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A jab from Hovimaki finds it's way through Sharkhausen's defenses.
Sharkhausen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hovimaki throws a lazy right hand but Sharkhausen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sharkhausen throws a leg kick but Hovimaki checks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hovimaki throws a shot from downtown. Sharkhausen moves away and avoids it.
Hovimaki takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hovimaki throws a poor cross that misses

and Sharkhausen counters with a crisp one two that drops Hovimaki! Sharkhausen thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hovimaki to his feet! Hovimaki is in big trouble!

Hovimaki is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sharkhausen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oh Hovimaki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sharkhausen connects with a superb combination that knocks Hovimaki out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Sharkhausen before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Hovimaki!
