The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vitor lands with a shot to the body.
Vitor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Vitor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.
Vitor looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.
Vitor jabs Gracie right on the nose. Gracie blinks but takes it well.
Vitor misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vitor scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Vic Vitor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vitor throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.
A shot to the liver by Gracie. Beautiful body shot.
Vitor keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Vitor moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vic Vitor! Vic Vitor retains his light heavyweight title!
