Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Routa Maa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry Black is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black darts in looking for a takedown but Maa gets double underhooks and turns Black into the cage.
Maa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Black can't get the takedown.
Maa has Black pressed against the cage, preventing Black from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Black's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Black flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Black is not content to let Maa control the position.
Black really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Black tries to roll over but Maa keeps him under control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Routa Maa was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Black shoots in for a double leg but Maa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Maa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Maa is pushing down on Black's leg trying to pass to half guard. Black is fighting to maintain full guard but Maa has managed to sneak the leg through.

Black is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Maa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Maa's back!
Black will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Black is riding his opponent, not letting Maa buck him off.
Maa rolls, trying to escape but Black keeps control of the position.

You can see the frustration on Maa's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was a close round but I would say that Terry Black will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Black is trying hard to land a takedown here. Maa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Maa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Black dives in and grabs Maa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maa pushes down on Black's head and hops out.

Maa shoots in looking for a takedown but Black manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Maa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Black has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maa has managed to get both his arms back between Black's legs - danger averted.

Black is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maa defends well.
Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maa on the ground.

Black has his foot on Maa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maa works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Terry Black will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Black has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Maa uses from the top position.

Black has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Maa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Terry Black.
Well Black has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
