The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to clinch there but Hardy circles away.
Hardy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Smith avoids the body shot from Hardy.
Smith throws a hook but Hardy avoids it easily.
Smith throws a good cross that connects.
Smith tries to clinch but Hardy moves out of range.
Hardy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.
Hardy lands with a shot to the body.

Smith rushes Hardy and presses him up against the cage.
Smith blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Smith scores with a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith prevents a body shot from Hardy.

Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hardy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hardy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hardy swings widly with a right hand
and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hardy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.
Hardy misses with a hook.
A swing and a miss from Smith.

Smith wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hardy looks to land a left hand but Smith moved out of range nicely.
Smith catches Hardy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Smith lands a nice looking body shot.
Hardy looks winded!

Smith drops Hardy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hardy looks back up at him and smiles so Smith waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smith moves into the clinch.
Smith works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hardy tries to throw a body punch but Smith avoids it by throwing Hardy back against the cage.
Smith lands a body shot.
Smith makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Smith scores with a nice hook to the head.
Smith lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hardy backwards.

Hardy is rocked!
Smith drops Hardy with a massive uppercut from the clinch! Oh my word, Hardy is out cold! What a knockout!

In defeat, Jason Hardy stepped up to the mic, saying 'As always I can do everything through Christ my lord and savior who strengthens me. Without him I wouldn't be here tonight. Don't worry I'll be back.'.
