Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hyung Shin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Hyung Shin!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shin thows a body shot but no joy.
Shin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Shin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Blake on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Blake shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Blake shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blake showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shin wants to get back to full guard.
Blake not doing much here.
Blake seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shin for as long as he can get away with.

We're going to have a standup here because Michael Blake wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Blake shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Shin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Shin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Blake controls the pace.
Blake working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Shin's head.

Shin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Shin has his foot on Blake's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Blake works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Blake connects with a couple of short punches.

Blake controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Michael Blake wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Shin misses with a wild body shot.

Shin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Blake has an Americana. Shin didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Blake is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Blake hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
