Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Porfirio Kaufman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Denver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Denver is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Porfirio Kaufman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jackson Denver!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaufman closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Denver looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Denver is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kaufman.
Kaufman fails with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Kaufman or perhaps it was just good defense by Denver which made him look bad.

Kaufman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kaufman thows a huge punch but Denver dodges it nicely.

Denver looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kaufman connects with a nice short shot to Denver's temple.
Kaufman wants to stand but Denver has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The fighters are battling for position here. Denver manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kaufman throws an elbow that misses. Denver uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kaufman's guard. Nice move by Denver!

Denver wants to control from the top but Kaufman keeps moving.

Kaufman dives in and grabs Denver's left leg, looking for a takedown. Denver pushes down on Kaufman's head and hops out.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Denver takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice sprawl there from Denver as Kaufman shoots in.

Denver fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kaufman to the ground. Denver is now in Kaufman's guard.
Kaufman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kaufman has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kaufman wants to sweep here but Denver controlling him for the moment.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Denver pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kaufman is keeping the position for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Porfirio Kaufman.
Kaufman tries for a takedown but Denver sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Denver fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kaufman sprawls well initially but Denver persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Porfirio Kaufman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kaufman shoots in looking for a takedown. Denver tries to sprawl out of it but Kaufman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Denver manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Denver closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kaufman quickly recovers to half guard.
Kaufman keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kaufman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Denver sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kaufman somewhat.

Denver has closed the distance and engaged Kaufman in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson Denver showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Denver slaps away a takedown attempt from Kaufman, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Denver misses with a body shot.
Kaufman lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Jackson Denver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kaufman gets caught napping as Denver dives in and scores a takedown. Kaufman manages to retain guard.
Kaufman trying to keep a closed guard but Denver is proving a slippery customer.
Denver throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kaufman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Denver stops Kaufman from standing up.

Kaufman wants to get back to his feet but Denver is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Denver has gone for a leg lock! Kaufman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Denver's guard.

Denver wants to control the position but Kaufman says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Kaufman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Denver defends it well.

Denver wants to hold on but Kaufman pushes him away.

Denver tries to hold on but Kaufman postures up.
Denver is wriggling around trying to escape.

Denver wants to control but Kaufman is having none of it.

Denver takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

I would just about give that final round to Jackson Denver.
I think Denver has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
