Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hakeem Bodman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gordon Foley!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley tries to clinch but Bodman is having none of it.

Bodman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Foley is surviving well by controlling Bodman's body position as best he can.

You get the feeling that Foley really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Bodman shoots in for a double leg but Foley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gordon Foley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bodman closes the distance and clinches up with Foley, looking for a takedown. Bodman pushes Foley against the cage but Foley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Foley throws a big shot that misses.
Gordon Foley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bodman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Foley but Foley pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bodman misses with a takedown attempt - Foley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bodman shoots in for a takedown but Foley shows good takedown defense.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Foley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bodman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bodman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bodman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
