Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 25 - 29 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Gomez!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Spat momentarily.
Spat needs to keep his hands up - Gomez had a free shot at his head there.

Spat drives through and clinches with Gomez against the cage.
Gomez is looking to take this one to the mat.
Gomez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Spat gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Gomez has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Spat clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
I really don't envy Spat right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
